Suit/Jacket Measurements
Length (Suit/Jacket)
How to measure
Locate the point where your neck meets the shoulder on your shirt, place the tape measure at the starting point of the in-seam below the collar on the shoulder line; bring the tape down parallel to your hand measuring till the first knuckle of your thumb, note down the value in inches.
Chest
How to measure
Place and circle-run the tape at your fullest part of the chest. Bring the tape’s starting point andthe measured point at the front, this is where your shirt’s second button is fastened (collar buttonexcluded). Note down the value in inches, it is advisable to round-up the values.
Stomach
How to measure
Measure around the circumference at your belly button, bring the starting point of the tape at the front to the closing measured point, and fully breathed out.
Seat/Hips
How to measure
Measure around the fullest part of your hips (bottoms), bring the starting point of the tapeto the measured point, closing at the front.
Shoulders
How to measure
Place the starting point of the tape at the “ T- seam” i.e where the shirt sleeve meets the shoulder. Measure from one seam to the other, following the natural contour line of your shoulder.
Sleeve Length
How to measure
Place the starting point of the tape measure at the T-seam, where the shirt sleeve meets the shoulder. Keeping your arms straight, bring the tape down slightly below your wrist joint; this is your final sleeve length.
Sleeve Cuffs
How to measure
Circle the tape measure around your wrist as shown in the picture, leave little room formovement; note down the value in inches.
Pant Measurements
Length
How to Measure
Place the tape on the out-seam at the starting of your pant’s waistband, measure from the top to the bottom following the out-seam until the desired length.
Waist
How to measure
Measure around your natural waist-line below your belly button, run the tape bringing the starting point and measured point at the front, note down the value in inches.
Seat/Hips
How to measure
Measure around the fullest part of your hips (bottoms), bring the starting point of the tape to the measured point, closing at the front
Thighs
How to measure
Run the measuring tape around the widest point of the thigh, bring the starting point of thetape to the measured point at the front; tape should be level and not too tight.
Crotch
How to measure
This measurement is taken from the front middle waistband, between your legs, and then up to the top of the back middle waistband. Adjust this to the height you want the crotch of your trousers to sit
Bottom Cuff
How to measure
Measure around the circumference of your pant’s bottom cuff, adjust as per your desired and room for comfort and foot movement.
