Horsehair Canvas
Our suits and blazers are created using 2/3 of horsehair canvas interlining, which is hand-sewn and forms up to take the natural shape of the body, creating a more personal fit and feel. In contrast to many fused suits, which have a hard and inactive build, this ensures a good build for the top portion of your suit. Because it distributes the tension from several stress areas over your shoulders and chest, this ensures a flawless drape resulting in a perfect tailored fit.

All of our fabrics are produced using natural fibres. We only use premium suiting fabric that has been woven and created by reputed mills around the world. Our suiting fabrics are of the highest quality, exceptionally durable, and breathable. Our wide range of fabric options enable us to create suits that will cater to all your formal, semi-formal, and casual clothing requirements, making them a long-term favourite.
Our suits are made from merino wool, and we at L’channel use merino wool as it is highly breathable, and known for keeping you cool in warm temperatures. This skin-friendly wool drapes well, exuding a better fit, while the slow wear and tear offers longevity. As it has been recognised as an eco-friendly fabric option that is 100% natural, renewable, and biodegradable, L’channel makes elegant suits from merino wool that has a natural property of retaining its life and luster.
Every L'channel suit comes with Cupro (Bemberg) lining, a regenerated fibre made from cotton linter, a waste product of the distillation of cottonseed oil. Its breathable nature makes suits comfortable even when worn for a longer time, while the soft texture glides through easily without friction, resulting in fewer creases and folds. Cupro is a biodegradable and compostable fibre made from a natural substance that decomposes organically after use.
